Old Baldy beaming with bright light.
Old Baldy has its own personality – sometimes dark and brooding, sometimes beaming with white light. If you wait until just the right moment at dusk, Old Baldy blushes at the audacious red of the sun at sunset.
Visitors enjoyed short hikes on the Bruce Trail and walks up the road to the General Store.

Hardwood swamp on the Beaver River.

The garden outside the beautifully renovated barn at the Beaver Valley Cidery.
Cool autumn nights signal the end of summer, and the trees in the Beaver Valley orchards were laden with apples. A trip to the Beaver Valley Orchard and Cidery seemed like just the thing, to enjoy their locally made dry cider. We sampled it with a plate of delicious local cheese in their beautifully renovated barn overlooking their gardens and fields.
Wildflowers and the first autumn leaves colour the edges of the roads.
The roads are now lined with wildflowers and the first red autumn leaves and purple asters provide brilliant accents to the fields of gold and green.
